My educational and professional background from Danmark, Morocco and USA has exposed me to diverse cultures. For many years, I have worked in the therapeutic fields supporting multicultural population in working with individuals experiencing a number of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, autism, learning disabilities, personality disorders, psychotic disorders, and Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD).
I am passionate about helping children realize their full potential academically, emotionally and psychologically. I believe that all individuals are different and there is no one-size-fits-all therapeutic approach when concerned with mental health issues. It is essential to formulate the correct intervention that each individual requires, based on their past experiences, behavioural patterns, diagnoses, cultural background and beliefs. I can provide therapy in Arabic, Danish, English and French
After finishing my Degree in consulting, I completed a Family Therapist education at DISPUK in Denmark.
During and following my training and professional work, I have gained experience in a wide range of settings, including mental health services for children and young people, adults of working age and older adults, as well as supporting individuals with trauma).
I also have a special interest and expertise in supporting families affected by anxiety, and individuals adjusting to physical health conditions or diagnoses, such as brain injury.
I have experience from treatment institutions and development of strategies to support traumatised children, young people, their families and networks in Denmark.
I believe that people from all cultures experience anxiety, depression and worries but how these are perceived and dealt with can vary from culture to culture. It also means the type of help an individual needs can differ from culture to culture where Intercultural Therapy can be beneficial.

One of the functions of the analytical dialog (dialog during therapy) is to communicate subjectively and simultaneously work to understand why we think, act and feel the way we do.
